Mass Effect 3: Take Earth Back Trailer
Awesome game trailer.
Pretty cool montage of some of the Rango animation before and after rendering. Always love seeing this stuff. Especially when you're able to see it without motion blur. It gives you a chance to really look hard at the animation. Great movie BTW I highly recommend seeing it (IN HD) if you haven't already.

Sad and good news today. I'm sure many of you know who Keith Lango is. He's announced today that his websites (all of them from the sounds of it) will be going dark and will not be updated. Its sad because well, I've been following this site for a loooooong time and it sucks to see it go. It is however good news that Keith is able to make a decision like this to better his life as I'm sure he's crazy busy. So thanks for all the great stuff you've posted over the years Keith and good luck!
Read the post about it here...

Found this over at OnAnimation. Really fun short. Love how its innocent with the old lady, but hardcore with the blood and swears from the slugs. A nice contract between the two situations :)

As gruesome as this short is, my God is it beautiful. The game I hear (the first one that is) is really fun. So I just may pick up this second one if I hear the same :)

iAnimate posted a fun music video featuring all of their characters dancing to a song. Some really nice animation in a bunch of these clips. Great stuff to see!

Its funny that I came across this video today while waiting on a playblast at work. I've been doing some crazy hours lately and kind of getting down about how much time is spent putting all your hours, hard work and life into a few seconds of screen time. Then something awesome like this video comes along and reminds us why we do what we do. We love it and although it can sometimes be really hard to what you do in the big picture even though it feels like you're working on such a small part of that big picture, when you step back and look at all the things made possible by you and your coworkers you gain this sense of satisfaction and remember you're doing what you love. I'm very lucky to be doing what I love and have been very fortunate to meet and work with amazing people. So with all that said, if you're having a rough day and need to remember why it is you do what you do. Why you put up with the hours and why you put every bit of you into every shot. Just remember the feeling you get at the end of this video.

Not too sure if this is for a re-release in 3d but if it is you can count I won't pay to see the Star Wars Franchise molested some more.

If you've been following my blog at all you'll know I love this kind of simple but hilarious stuff. Especially the stuff from Bird Box Studios. Looks like they've made an interactive(and hilarious) Christmas video. LOVE IT!

I usually don't post too much stuff that isn't heavily animation related, but this is a really nicely put together video of artist Miguel Endara doing a gorgeous stippling drawing.

Man stop motion can be so cool! Unfortunately I'm one of those guys that can't live without his Undo key :) Not to mention I'm a clumsy oaf that would trample everything on a weekly basis. Awesome to see this stuff!
